Top 50 Farmers is an acceleration platform paving the way for regenerative agriculture to be scaled from soil to gut. We identify the farmers who are role modeling what the future of farming looks like and share their stories. We also connect them with industry executives and pioneering thought leaders to unlock new opportunities across the value chain.
Audrey Bourolleau is the Co-Founder of HECTAR, an 600 hectare agricultural campus outside of Paris that brings together agriculture, entrepreneurship and technology in a unique ecosystem. HECTAR provides entrepreneurial training for future farm managers, runs a pilot farm for regenerative agriculture, and a startup accelerator in partnership with the HEC Paris incubator to support startups in the agricultural and food sector.
Audrey Bourolleau started her career at BIC Group where she was in charge of business development in Africa and the Middle East for the BIC Group. She then worked for Baron Philippe de Rothschild, then France Boissons, before heading the Syndicat des Côtes de Bordeaux.
In 2012, she became General Delegate of Vin & Société, an association representing the French wine industry. Her work at the head of the French wine industry earned her the title of "Woman of the Year 2014" by the Revue du Vin de France.
Audrey left Vin & Société in 2016 to join Emmanuel Macron's campaign team and became his advisor on agricultural issues. She then joined his cabinet at the Elysée Palace as Advisor on Agriculture, Fisheries, Forestry and Rural Development.
