With her extensive experience in regenerative agriculture and deep commitment to fostering collaboration, Ana brings invaluable expertise to the table.

As a co-founder of the @agriculturaregenerativaiberica in Iberia and a skilled facilitator, she has spent years building strong networks and connections among farmers and visionaries across Spain and Portugal. Ana is also a cornerstone of the @we_are_eara as an internal organizational process and community care facilitator.

Ana’s approach is centered on collaboration, connection, and the belief that regenerating both our soils and relationships is essential for addressing the pressing challenges of our time.

We are excited to have her unique perspective and passion for community-driven transformation on the Selection Committee!

His expertise lies in transforming conventional farms into resilient, soil-first systems that are both profitable and sustainable.

As the Co-Founder of @soilcapital , Nicolas has played a key role in helping over 200,000 hectares of farmland transition to regenerative practices across 15 countries. Under his leadership, Soil Capital launched Europe’s first certified carbon payment program, unlocking over €4 million in payments to farmers improving soil health.

A driving force in the regenerative movement, Nicolas continues to support farmers in France, Belgium, and the UK in large-scale soil regeneration. We’re honored to have his deep agronomic expertise shaping our selection process! 🚜🌍

She also has deep expertise in reviewing applications and providing grants, making her an invaluable addition to our selection process.

Beyond research and extensive collaborative efforts across Europe, Marin champions regenerative agriculture as the board chair of @foodprint.nordic , advocating for farming solutions that restore ecosystems, support biodiversity, and empower communities.

With her vision, experience, and ability to unite key players, Marin will help us identify the top 50 farmers shaping the future of food.

She’s also worked with global brands like Baron Philippe de Rothschild and served as Agriculture Advisor to President Emmanuel Macron, where she championed policies supporting farmers and rural development.

Audrey’s leadership in France is particularly critical in addressing the unprecedented challenge of cross-generational renewal across Europe.

In France alone, 160,000 farms—nearly half of the country’s total—are set to transition to the next generation within the next four years. At the same time, across Europe, fewer than 12% of farmers are under the age of 40.

While mainstream media often portrays farmers as exhausted and undervalued, HECTAR works to present a radically different vision: one where farmers are agricultural business leaders, fully capable of creating immense value, improving their quality of life, and developing regenerative models that benefit both people and the planet.

This resonates deeply with Top 50 Farmers’ mission to change the narrative around farming—to recognize and celebrate the contributions farmers make, from producing nutritious food to providing clean air and water, fostering biodiversity, and storing carbon.

Meet Sandra @kirsebaerogkoervel : A Danish farmer, teacher, and one of Denmark’s leading voices in regenerative agriculture. As a farmer herself, Sandra deeply understands the challenges and opportunities of practicing regenerative farming. She knows what it takes to rebuild soil health, foster biodiversity, and create a farm that’s both productive and restorative.

Sandra’s vision extends beyond her own fields. She Co-Founded the first Regenerative School in Denmark where she equips aspiring farmers with the knowledge and practical tools needed to run a profitable regenerative farm business. Her work supports a new generation of farmers committed to holistic practices that benefit both the environment and local communities.

Sandra is also a founding member of the European Alliance for Regenerative Agriculture (EARA) and a co-initiator of Denmark’s Regenerative Association. Through these roles, she’s shaping the educational and political ecosystem to support other farmers in creating a thriving farm business.
